Hey there everybody! Just wanted to make a journal entry here since it's my first night on DA. Where to start...

Well, my name is Doug first of all. I'm 20 years of age and I absolutely love to write. I taught myself to read at the age of 3 and got into writing when I was about 15. Since then I've just been swept away by ideas and imagination that half the time I don't even know where to go with my stories so I just write whatever comes to mind and believe me, it's a mess sometimes. I'm mainly a story writer but I've done poetry before and while it's not my forté, I've been told by others that it's pretty good *insert shrug here*. Lyrics are sometimes fun too but that's a rare thing from me as I usually need some music to go with it to make any sense out of my lyrics.

I do also dabble in Photography, but that's a story for another time...just take a look at my deviations if you want to know what I mean.

I guess what got me interested in DA was my girlfriend, Rachael. You'll find her over here:



I love her loads and she's one of the greatest supporters of my work (even before DA).

Umm, well I don't have much else to say here but I'll have some more stuff posted soon, most of what I'll be posting over the next few days are old works. I'll have some new works very soon, including a couple parts to a new story I'm writing that only Rachael has seen up to now.
